Research Engineer (full-time/part-time)

We are seeking an exceptional computer vision expert (PhD preferred but we will consider all candidates) to join a small but rapidly growing team of scientists and developers. Our internal resources as well as external research grants will fund the post.


You will be responsible for development and implementation of various computer vision and machine learning algorithms. We believe our team members are most productive when working on projects they are most passionate about and best suited to, therefore we try to match each candidate with their preferred topic whenever possible.


Our work cover these topics:

  • image semantic segmentation,

  • 3D semantic segmentation

  • automatic object proposal

  • SLAM (dense, semi-dense)

  • Deformable object registration and tracking (faces and human body)

  • Object detection using neuromorphic sensors (event-based cameras)

  • SLAM using neuromorphic camera

  • Distributed SLAM

  • Large scale anomaly detection

  • Large scale activity recognition

  • activity recognition through time-series analysis

  • distributed vision (processing close to sensor)


You should have a strong background in computer vision and machine learning, be up-to-date with latest techniques (in particular various types of deep neural nets such as GANs, CNNs, LSTMs, etc.), be familiar with various optimization techniques, be comfortable coding in  python/C++,  be very inquisitive and greatly respect team work and the positive and forward looking culture in our team.


We are looking for both full-time and part-time candidates and there is the option for working remotely/from home. (We are happy to work with post-graduate student on a part-time basis)

Sales and Business Development Manager (full-time/part-time)

As a Business Development Manager you have a direct impact on the products our team can ship and the services we can offer to our customers.

We are looking for someone who relishes the thought of originating, navigating and executing high value accounts with senior level management, Government bodies and various other stakeholders.

Day-to-day activities include:

  • Building and managing a sales pipeline on your own.

  • Presenting our product to senior executives in client meetings.

  • Ensuring high level of responsiveness with prospects through the sales process.

  • Proactively sourcing new leads and new business opportunities.

  • Reporting on sales activity and revenue forecasts.

  • Researching accounts to understand need, enable effective follow up, and generate interest.

  • Producing ad-hoc marketing and sales documentation.

We would love to meet someone who:

  • Is a self starter and able to work under their own initiative.

  • Ideally has experience at a fast-growing technology company. Previous exposure to computer vision, machine learning and earth observation is a plus.

  • Presents themselves as highly credible and articulate face-to-face, over the phone, and via email.

  • Has a confident persona and can deliver extraordinary customer relationships.

  • Is a highly intelligent individual, comfortable with technology and software.
